This book was about: A girl named Aubrey and how her family got into a car accident and lost her dad and sister, and her mom left her so she starts living by herself. After that she would never answer the phone, so her grandma got worried and found out that she was living on her own and took her to her house in Vermont. While Aubrey was there she met a new friend and started school. At the end of the book she has a big decision to make and you will find that out in the book.

3 things I learned from this book:

1. To never doubt yourself

2. Never change the way you are because of someone else

3. Be strong and brave

I liked this book because, it is sort like a different kind of book and you can make connections to the main character. Also, I liked it because at the end of the chapters sometimes it leaves you on the edge of your seat

My favorite character is Aubrey,because she is very strong and brave and loves to do new things and is always very nice, kind, and friendly to people.
