Book Title: Ella Enchanted                                              Author: Gail Carson Levine

This book was about a girl named Ella and she has a curse of obedience put on her by a fairy named Lucinda. Her mother dies and her father marries again and she has to live with her step sisters, Hattie and Olive. She goes to a convention with her friend and meets the prince.  The prince and Ella go to a giants wedding and Ella and Char kissed. The prince's name is Char. A while later, The prince holds a ball to see who he is going to marry. Ella disguises herself and goes to the ball. The prince doesn’t recognize Ella and he dances with her. Ella’s step sister, Hattie rips off her mask and Char sees her face. She runs out of the palace and she tell her fairy godmother. The prince arrived  at the house with Ella’s glass slipper and he tries it on every girl in the house. They try it on Ella and it fits. Ella breaks her curse and gets married to Char and they live happily ever after.

My favorite character in this book was Ella because she broke her curse and she didn't want to hurt him by marrying him with her curse.

I liked this book because there was romance, action and adventure.
