Book Title: Jack and the Giant                                              Author: Jim Harris

This book was about  a little boy that lived with his mom and  they got poor , so the mom said for Jack to go trade their cow with someone.When he did   he got a bag of magic beans. When he got home he showed his mom, she threw them out the window, because she didn’t like them. The next morning there was  a bean stalk, so he climbed it, up into the clouds. He got chased by a giant while he was in the clouds. When he was coming out of the clouds the giant was still chasing him.

My favorite character in this book was  Jack because he got chased by a giant and it was funny because the pictures were good.

I liked this book because the pictures are funny, it is full of adventure, and Jack was chased by a giant.

This book was about:A young boy Harry Potter sadly loses his parents to a dark wizard Voldemort.The dark wizard tries to kill him but his spell backfires.Scared the dark lord flees.The poor boy is forced to live with his mugle aunt uncle and cousin.Until one morning morning a letter comes.The aunt and uncle don't want him to go to the school.So for about a week a war goes on between the three. Finally Harry gets a note not knowing what it means he asks. Which was a huge mistake because the second he finds out they get in the car and drive to a horrible

hotel.But the letters get there to. So they drive to a place that has a boat and sail to a rocky island there they stay over night.In the middle of the night a giant comes to the house. Bringing a birthday cake for Harry telling him about the magic school and his parents.The next day they go to the magic block where he gets his wand and other stuff.About a month later he goes to the train station.Harry not knowing how to get on the platform.Follows a magical family.He gets on the train and meets a boy named Ron Weasly.Well you can imagine what happens next.Brooms,spells,potions,friendship,drama,sorting,and sooooo much more!

My favorite character in this book was  Hermoine Granger because she is a know-it-all.

I liked this book because its full of magic,fun,adventure,and lots more.

This book was about a girl who had a dog and the dogs name was Winn Dixie, and she had lots fun with Winn Dixie.

My favorite character in this book was  Winn Dixie because Winn Dixie was a dog and I like dogs and he did lots of funny things.

I liked this book because it was really interesting when the dog ran away. It was also really interesting when I did not know if the girl was going to find her mom.

Book Title:  Hey New Kid                                             Author: Betsy Duffey

This book was about a kid named Cody, that had to move and he didn’t know anyone.When he looked at his pencils and they said super and deluxe, so he wanted to be  a super deluxe Cody then when he reached his classroom the kids in his class wanted to know about Cody so he lied a lot about himself. For example: he lied about how he won lots and lots of trophies for ice skating. Another example  is: how his parents worked in different jobs then they work in real life.  

My favorite character in this book was  Cody’s mom because she was very funny and helpful at times like… (funny) when she was unpacking she forgot where she put certain objects in bags/boxes and could not find them, so when she found them she would say aah haa! One time when she was helpful is when Cody got invited to a party and he was almost going to lie about that to saying he had plans because he couldn’t ice skate and then his mom told him he should go.

I liked this book because it teaches you a good lesson why not to lie and just be yourself because no matter what your unique in your own way.

This book was about:

Junie B went on vacation to Hawaii and when she went there tons of silly stuff happened to her. For example when she was on the plane to Hawaii she was sticking her barbie between the seats in front of her and behind her annoying those people behind her and in front of her.

My favorite character in this book is  Junie B because she always is doing something like annoying people like on the plane when she was sticking her barbie between the seats or when in the morning at the hotel in Hawaii she was jumping on her Mom, Dads and her bed.

I liked this book because it is funny.For example it was funny when Junie B got a floaty that was parrot and it looked like it was for babies. Another reason I thought the book was funny is when Junie B was on the airplane going to Hawaii and she stuck her Barbie doll between the 2 seats behind her and in front of her. The part I thought was funny was when the person in the front and the back were staring at her with angry looks on their faces because she was annoying them by sticking her barbie between the 2 seats in front of her and behind her.
